MSA is a registered Non-Profit Organisation as well as a Public Benefit Organisation, and, as such, we depend on the charity of others to be of service to all people with Multiple Sclerosis

We provide many services to PwMS and generally try to enhance their lives whilst managing this debilitating disease.

As a PBO we are authorised to issue A18 tax certificates, so that any donations made are tax deductible.

We depend totally on the generosity of corporate and private funding, and our services are manned entirely by volunteers, many of whom have MS themselves, as well as a few hard-working people who DO NOT have MS, but who care about, or for people with MS.

We DO NOT charge membership fees or subscriptions as we want MSA-SA to be open to all, not just the people who can afford to pay annual membership fees.

If you are able to support our cause as a volunteer, or with a donation – no matter how small, we would love to hear from you.

Volunteering

We have a need for people to help us with local community small groups, regional event organisation, professional counselling, coffee mornings, web seminars, distribution of MS awareness leaflets, design of artwork for functions, marketing support, visiting people who are in hospital or bed bound, helping disabled people with shopping…and the list goes on.

If you are able and willing to help us, even in a small or limited way, we would love to hear from you, so please respond TODAY using the message service below:

Fundraising

Fundraising is key to our ability to help less fortunate PwMS, and whilst we are fortunate to have the support of a number of corporate bodies and private individuals with donations, we rely heavily on new initiatives and new fund-raising ideas.

We are constantly in need of people who can work with us and help raise funds. If you are able to help, we would love to hear from you.

Please contact us TODAY using the message service below.

..Make a Donation

MSA is a charity organisation run under the control of the Department of Social Development (DSD) although we receive no grant or support from the Department.

As a registered Non-Profit Organisation (NPO 002-318) as well as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO 930-012-60), we depend totally on funding to be able to carry out the work that we do.

Each and every donation helps us to do the work we do, and to support PwMS (people with MS) who are often unable to work or who need help with wheelchairs, walking aids, transport to doctor and hospital appointments etc.

We appreciate any donation that you can make.
