Shining a Light on Hidden Disabilities in South Africa

From 3 November to 3 December, South Africa observes National Disability Rights Awareness MonthΒ a time to recognise the strength, resilience, and dignity of people living with disabilities, including those of us living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

This month reminds us that disability does not define us our courage, adaptability, and determination do. It’s also a call for greater understanding, inclusion, and accessibility in every aspect of society from workplaces and healthcare to education and community life.

Let’s use this time to raise our voices, share our stories, and advocate for a world that truly values ability in all its forms. Together, we can build a more compassionate and accessible South Africa for everyone. πŸ’ͺ🧑
